Great Lawn at the Ocean Promenade

Sunday, May 20th - Event Schedule:
  • 7:30am: Registration and Check-In Begins (If you are running, we anticipate heavy traffic, so make sure you arrive early enough to check-in, secure your race bib and head to the start line. See site map for check-in and race start locations.
  • 8:30am: USATF Certified 5K Race Begins (course route)
  • 9:15am: Race Awards & Remarks at Main Stage
  • 10:00am: Walk Begins (walk the entire route or take a shortcut)

 
Parking Details: (PARKING MAP)
  • We strongly suggest you park in the City of Long Branch Municipal Lot located at
    Broadway and 2nd Avenue

  • Disability parking can be found on either end of the Great Lawn via McKinley Street.
  • There is also parking available at Seven Presidents Park, BUT there is no entry/exit between 8am and Noon (during the race/walk).

Check-In Steps: (SITE MAP)
  1. Participant Check-In Tent: Check-in and pick up your bib number at this tent. (OR check-in and pick-up in advance on Saturday, May 19 from 10AM-2PM at the Ocean Place Resort - 1 Ocean Blvd, Long Branch.)
  2. T-Shirt Tent: Pick-up your event t-shirt after Check-In (for all walkers/runners).
  3. Team Luke Area: See map for our area to meet. You can pick up any Team Luke apparel you may have ordered and there will be some additional Team Luke items for sale including plenty of the popular Team Luke hats.

Additional Information:
  • Event is Rain or Shine, so please dress accordingly!
  • Food and drinks are complimentary for all registered participants.
  • A secure bag drop will be available for you to check your personal belongings.
  • NO PETS/ NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited, and due to the volume of participants, for everyone’s health and safety, the police have mandated no pets on the premises.
  • NO TENTS: Teams are welcome to bring tables and chairs, however please refrain from bringing tents. This event site is on the shoreline and we are expecting wind.
